"Bist du ohne hertz geboren?" Medic x OC

I have a few german phrases in this book here and there. I do not know much german, i apologize for foul grammar, feel free to correct me.
SLOW BURN

Svetlana Volkova, growing up in the suburbs of the soviet, in yekaterinburg. Coming from a wealthy family with the same beliefs of the USSR, except for herself. The woman was mostly shadowed over by her father when it came to family and relatives, not being satisfied with her capabilities and in his words 'lack of femininity' despite barely being masculine in any aspect. Craving perfection to claim her as his own. Although her father was quite the ass, her mother, except her emotional outbursts was the closest to Sveta. Being the one to grant her the escape and move to the states at age 20. Pursuing the dream of psychological expertise, studying for 9 years, even though her goal was just a bachelor's, she pushed on, gaining that doctoral degree. At this point, she had turned 29, learning the English language in the process. Although English was being taught in Russian schools, the system did no justice, atleast not in her school. After finally gaining these skills, she thought she had done enough to achieve the feeling of success, but she still felt as if something were missing, as if something wasn't right. 6 months into her job as a psychiatrist, her attention shifting to other possibilities, maybe this career - even though she had wasted most her life dedicating herself to neurological knowledge - Just wasn't the right path. Searching for new positions in her freetime until she stumbled upon a flyer, promising training of abilities, and finding a title fit for the person applying. At first she had thought it was just bluff, that there was no way some mysterious entity behind this piece of paper could ever determine her skills. But alas, minds change, and hers decided it was right to finally do something out of her own comfort zone.
