"Dreams or Nightmares" - A Portal Into the Unseen
These stories are not real, but they felt real. Each one is based on the strange, vivid, and sometimes unsettling experiences from my own dreams and nightmares. They might feel disconnected, surreal, or end on a cliffhanger... because that's how dreams work.
Through this page, I'll be sharing these bizarre journeys from my subconscious. Some may be peaceful, others terrifying - all of them unique.
I'll also be featuring dream and nightmare stories sent in by readers like you. If you've had an unforgettable dream or a chilling nightmare, feel free to share it with me. Welcome to my dream journal-a collection of vivid, standalone stories. Each chapter is a new dream, a new story, unique and unconnected from the rest-crafted to let you see, feel, and experience them as I did. When Stories Wake Up
Are you a writer? Have you ever watched your own characters suffer...and told yourself, "It's just fiction." After all, they aren't real. They don't breathe, they don't bleed, they don't remember....Right? But what if they did? What if every character you abandoned remembered every wound you gave them...Every heartbreak, every betrayal, every death. And what if they remembered who wrote it? So tell me... If one day your characters took the pen from your hands. If your story began rewriting you. If you were forced to live every tragedy you once wrote for them... Would you survive your own ending?
The Moments I Recall
He looks out beyond the edge and I can't seem to pull my eyes away from him. He smiles and speaks, but I can't hear anything he says. Even so, the buzzing seems to grow quieter and quieter till it's just silence all around myself and him. I watch his mouth move as inaudible words flow from it into the air, and his hands open as he gestures while he speaks. I watch as he looks turns to look at me to be sure I am following along, and then his eyes just wait on me and his mouth stops moving. I watch him mouth my name and tilt his head to read me. There's nothing I can tell him. Nothing that wont change things, but if I keep this going things will change. "Xylia," He mouths again. ******************************************** Xylia doesn't remember any of it, she lived through it all and yet she can't remember. She must watch herself relive every choice and every mistake she had the first time to find herself again. It is the only way to save him from herself. All she knows is: This is a past life among hundreds of billions. Summer Camp changed everything. Her friends are dying and she doesn't remember how to save them. Sometimes I have dreams, My memory of these dreams aren't always clear and the stories tend to be a bit jumpy, a lot of these happen because I ate ice cream before bed. NOTE all names and locations have been changed for safety purposes
Nightscape
A collection of stories based of my dreams and nightmares. Recently I've been having vivid dreams and nightmares that seems recurring or just memorable. Either caused by my anxiety or troubles that I don't acknowledge. People always say that there's meaning behind dreams and I'm here to figure out what it means or just to share an interesting tale. Some people have wacky dreams but for some reason mine seems to be pretty creative and straight forward that's good enough to write a story for. That's what I use my dreams and nightmares for, inspiration. Hopefully you guys enjoy these short and easy to digest stories. Requiem
I woke up in a coffin. Buried alive. I remember everything. The suffocating darkness. The taste of dirt. The sound of my own, muffled screams. But the man who dug me up wasn't a savior.
