The Point

The Point is an action, adventure, comedy, dark fantasy, and martial arts story. In the late 20th century, a supernatural event known as "The Turning Point" occurred. The cause of this phenomenon remains unknown. During The Turning Point, some humans began to evolve, awakening a mysterious power called the Singular Point. Those who possessed it became known as Singulars.

The Singular Point is an almost mythical ability that allows its wielder to manipulate the very fabric of reality at a single focus. By concentrating on a specific point-whether in space, time, or probability-the user can bend outcomes, distort matter, or even glimpse multiple futures. This power emphasizes precision over scale: one perfectly aimed strike can dramatically alter events, yet overreach or miscalculation can have catastrophic consequences, making the Singular Point both immensely powerful and dangerously unstable.

Although humans gained this supernatural ability, the world suffered severe consequences. The Earth became highly unstable, natural disasters intensified, weather patterns turned unpredictable, and ecosystems grew chaotic and volatile.

Among the Singulars is Krishna Tamang, a seventeen-year-old born during The Turning Point. His father, Prasad Tamang, was a Nepalese man who moved to Japan in the 1980s for a better life and married Hikari Minamoto, a member of a samurai family. Prasad and Hikari tragically died during The Turning Point, leaving Krishna to be raised by his grandfather, Yamato Minamoto, as a samurai.

Unlike other Singulars, Krishna is unique. He can create multiple Singular Points simultaneously for an infinite duration without suffering any harm. Yet he chooses not to use this power recklessly, instead seeking to experience every emotion life has to offer-a lesson imparted to him by Yamato Minamoto. In addition to his extraordinary abilities, Krishna is a skilled samurai, blending supernatural power with disciplined martial artistry.
