Ivy Harris does not have time for risks. When every aspect of her life feels as if it's set to an ever declining timer, she can't waste it on measly opportunities that might fall through. "It's not worth it," she'd tell those that complained, like her boss, though she was actually entirely rational for bringing up the issue. She hadn't published a story in three months.

When demands are made that something has to change, Ivy finds herself uncharacteristically travelling across the world to offer a man she's never met a proposition. His help with her story in return for... well, anything (within reason.)

She can't lose her job. Not when she loves it so much. But when Avengers business makes the narrative a little more complex, Ivy is nauseous watching the conditions of her morals remain up in the air, precariously dancing on the edge of shattering entirely. She doesn't want to be the quitter they label her as though, with the mess she finds herself in, what other choice does she have?
