Centuries pass.
But the truth never dies out.
Nor do the dead stay gone.
A town living in the aftermath of its most famous moment: the death of 6 people, including Cooper Lawton, a writer, and James Logan, the man who killed him.
Seven people, including Kylie - a girl trying to recover from her trauma - and Lydia - the girl who almost killed her - all letting curiosity about the legend draw them to the house it all went down in.
And, of course, the man from all those years ago who won't stay dead.
After the loss of her only family, May begins to hear a voice of comfort and support. Convinced Liam is a delusion, she allows herself to be open and honest with him in a way she's never allowed herself anyone else - and pretty soon, she stops caring if he's a delusion or not.
Liam, on the other hand, hasn't had someone to speak to in decades since his death - and it doesn't take long for him to start developing feelings for the quirky recluse that he discovered in the graveyard.
Two lost souls in a world that's only shown them pain - can they overcome the chasm between them?
