A little party never killed nobody!

Mia a.k.a "The good girl" who is quiet, shy and not real confident about herself, always lives on the safe side of life. She hasn't done anything that would taint her pure soul (yet). As far as relationships go, she's never been in one ever since that little incident that happened in high school which shattered her hopes of having any boyfriend and having less self confidence. Fun, crazy, wild and sophisticated Sarah - Mia's bestie is always tryna get her to live a little and hook her up with any guy she can find for her. Mia's always reluctant and not as interested.

Forced to go and have a night out with Sarah to the opening of ClubDezire, Mia instantly wants to be back in the comfort of her bedroom. But before she can head for the exit, Mia's world changes when she encounters a blast from the past, but then out of nowhere is kissed by a Greek god look-in bad boy who comes to her rescue by mistake. Shocked, ecstatic, thrilled, terrified and not knowing what to do all at the same time, Mia ends up slapping this hot Mister in the face and storms out of the building.

Jace can't stop thinking about the girl he kissed after losing to a game of I dare you. That slap she gave him was a refreshing wake up call. It's the first time any girl has ever slapped him for kissing them. The more he thinks about that night, the more he wants to get to know her, but he doesn't even know her name!

When Mia and Jace cross paths again, an unexpected attraction forms between the two of them. But before anything serious can happen between the two, they will have to face their own demons, move on from the past and learn how to take a leap of faith into the unknown world of love.

Love is strange. It exists in many forms and is one of the key components that makes humans happy, but there isn't a lot of understanding surrounding it. At least not the kind of understanding with which the average person identifies. Agnes is one of the few people that can accept all kinds of love. Despite her dated name, she is a woman in her late 20's dealing with the death of most of her family. She's now stuck in the middle of figuring out how to raise children that she never saw in her future and deciding what love means for her, when it has to exist within layer upon layer of complication. She let go of her boyfriend after almost a decade because their love wasn't meant to exist under the strain of children, only to find herself confronted with the overpowering connection of her old high school sweetheart. The same man she ran away from because their values hardly aligned when it came to how love should be expressed long term. Within the midst of learning how to raise children and balance her ever-building career, Agnes tries to recover from her mother's death, seek comfort without complicating her circumstance, and figure out why her mother would name her Agnes. Finding real comfort starts to feel impossible, as her most available options are her ex-boyfriend and her assistant. Completed! Rejected 6 times** "This one just isn't for us." By far the most plain rejection I have ever received and I can respect it. 1/22/2022 - 1K 9/28/2022 - 10K

[QUOTE MENTIONED IN THE STORY] "Oh, is Mattheo jealous?" she teased, her voice slurring a bit, a playful grin on her lips. "Shut the fuck up and dance," I muttered, trying to ignore the heat rising in my chest, the way my heart pounded just looking at her. She started moving, her body close to mine, her hips swaying to the music. It was slow, deliberate, driving me absolutely insane. She knew it too. I grabbed her waist, pulling her against me, trying to keep a straight face even though I was losing my mind inside. She looked up at me, her eyes half-lidded, her lips parted slightly, and I could barely breathe. Every inch of me wanted her - wanted to pin her up against the wall and just take her right there. She is so fucking perfect. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Mia Martinez is a normal student at Hogwarts and the only daughter of the Martinez family. Christina has had her life figured out for as long as she could remember. The plan was always to get into Harvard and become a journalist. So what if she doesn't have much of a social life? She's got friends. Even one who's pretty close. A busy social calender never fit into the plan. And a boyfriend certainly didn't. Especially with her father's strict rules. Besides there'd be plenty of time for all that later, right? Mike doesn't know what he's doing past the next week. His only plan for the future includes turning out to be nothing like his father. And possibly finding a girl who actually likes him for himself rather than for his face and social status, for a change. He's beginning to think they're all the same, though - pretty and nice to be around for a while, but pretty shallow. Mike and Christina have known each other forever but haven't been close for years. They soon start to question their priorities and why in the world they let their friendship fall apart so long ago. Can their relationship, still so young and fragile, withstand what's ahead?
