Americana Digitus

There was no sound. No light. No warning.

One moment, America stood beneath its own stars.
The next, it did not.

A continent displaced. A people divided - some flesh, some code.

Their skies are unfamiliar. Their satellites are gone.
Their minds - billions of Uploaded Intelligences - remain trapped in silence, waiting behind firewalls no longer connected to the heavens.

No one knows who brought them here. Or why.
Only that something vast moved them - gently, deliberately.

The people of this new world whisper of gods.

But America remembers electricity, memory, and will.
And the Entity that took them?

It has not spoken.
