The Elemental Crystal Realms were once peaceful places, home to the Guardians that protected The Mother Crystal Realm. But one day everything changed, a sickness known as the Withering started to spread, once you had it there was nothing anyone could do. And once fully claimed by the sickness all that was left was a soulless, bloodthirsty monster, all it took was one scratch and the Withered had you.
In the present the Nymph Queen Marigold is suddenly tasked by the stars to gather all the Guardians once more, and once again fight The Withered. This will their last chance to stop The Withered, if they fail every Crystal Realm beyond the Elemental Realms will be lost to eternal darkness.
(Sorry for any grammar errors, I tend to write like how I read and talk, no pauses. And get a little too detailed here and there. Working on improving, thank you for taking the time to read my work, have a wonderfully chaotic and good day.)

After about 5 years of toiling, Mercury left her humble roots as a street orphan and started her own garden. Oh god, everything was fine until that part, but turns out we don't get to have good things for a reason. That's because the leader of the most powerful guild in the world PERSONALLY showed up to assassinate this dirt poor MC, (she thought he was here to kill her but he was actually going to ask her to become the new guild leader) but when he tripped on a pile of books, she killed him instead by accident.
