The new boss isn't what Alfred wanted, he wanted the sweet woman. He had no say in it, but he thought the guy would be like any other; ambitious and having goals that wouldn't show through till the next presidency. Unfortunately, that wasn't happening .

America is the loud, obnoxious, immature nation the countries know, right? But what if he wasn't? Alfred and Arthur had been dating for a little while, but now they had been just drifting apart. They didn't feel the same way they did when they first started dating, the spark was gone. or so they thought. They bickered and fought over everything nowadays. Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary.
