Richter Belmont swears he isn't insane. 
Washington state, 1960. 
Nineteen year old Richter is admitted to Northern State Hospital where the pine trees loom tall and the fog is ever present. Admitted into the ward for his reckless behavior and sexual orientation, Belmont will do whatever it takes to make it out of the asylum with his sanity intact. 

The orderlies are harsh and distant, the other patients have a glazed look in their eyes, but the warden seems to watch his every move, always holding a clipboard. Richter thinks that if he just plays along and acts like a good boy, he'll be out of there in no time, but Northern State Hospital has a history of constantly keeping patients in, and the warden's mind games are hard to break.

(This is mainly a Richter x Olrox story, but will have hints of Richter x Mizrak as well.)
