The Fall Down

When the kingdom of Ayayndor is attacked by terrifying creatures called Wervplights-mutated dragons once sealed by an ancient pact-young Amara Coldmere escapes with her sister as the city falls to flames. Amid the chaos, Amara realizes she ignored a crack in the magical crystal that upheld the Silence Ones' Pact between humans and dragons. Her failure may have triggered the release of the Wervplights, breaking the sacred code that required both sides to help each other in times of need. Overwhelmed with guilt and blamed by others, she chooses not to give in to despair but to take responsibility.

With only fifty surviving children and no dragons left, Amara devises a risky plan to infiltrate enemy territory, gain support, and uncover the truth behind the attack. She hopes to restore the broken alliance and prevent the Wervplights from returning. Despite their grief and fear, the children vow to honor those who died by continuing the fight. Their words, "Let the silence catch flames," become a promise-to rise from the ashes and reclaim their future.
