Star Wars fanfic - Prequel Trilogy
Part 2 - starts 2 years before Episode I

Some time has passed since the destruction of the obelisk on Malachor. Nyela has been struggling with the corruption of her lightsaber crystal. Meditating but failing to heal it using the knowledge she knows from the Jedi stories and archives. She reminisces back to when she found her crystal as a youngling Initiate.

After visiting Ilum, her connection to the Force and her kyber crystal are renewed. She reunites with Obi-Wan, meeting Anakin Skywalker, witnessing changes within the Republic, and is ordered to assist with the ongoing conflicts on Naboo.

Clashes and mistrust begin to grow between her and Obi-Wan following the Naboo battle.

The trail leading to Vorr resurfaces, linking to mining operations on Malastare. With the assistance of Dross Vane and R4, Nyela finally tracks down her nemesis from previous missions but fears it might be too late.
