The doors pull me out of my thoughts with a loud whooshing sound. There he is. My best friend. The man I'm too afraid to admit my feelings to. I take a second to compose myself as he grins at me.. He and I met right before my incident. I was so worried that everything would change after that. But nothing did. And that helped heal something inside of me.
