Wei Wuxian is always distant, quiet, boring, keeps a stoic face and has a cold scary glare. Not the typical kind to be friends with...or even to be expected in a popular group.
While Lan Wangji on the other hand, was someone who always smiled, always energetic and has a lot to talk abt, he can go on and on abt anything under the sky...the kind of person everyone would want around them, the kind everyone admire, the kind you feel like talking to.
But things had suddenly turned...it no longer seems fun or a joke. The moment another one showed up at under my door, I couldn't stop myself from shivering. What started as a secret admirer had turned into a stalker. I could no longer smile freely, be myself or go anywhere without looking around after every turn I took.

The only people who could touch him without him backing away was Wen Ning...and him. Lan Zhan realized this when he had grabbed Wei Wuxian to keep him from storming out of a room, and instead of fighting him off as he did with everyone else, he calmed. Unnerved by the drastic change in personality, and, though unwilling to admit it, worried for the slightly younger boy, Lan Zhan gets his father and brother to convince the Jiang clan to let them take Wei Wuxian back to the Cloud Recesses, under the pretence of having him attend more training, as an official Disciple in a few more months.
