Some of Nintendo's (and the Super Smash Bros communities) most iconic characters get invited to SS. Brothers High School to spend the next 4 years training to become a top fighter & learning more about their world.
These teens may be great friends, but drama follows them through their daily lives. That is the cost of popularity.
Zelda is just trying to have the best (and most normal) High School experience ever, but being an incredibly beautiful and smart 16 year old makes her an easy target for unwanted attention.
This school has its flaws. These students were chosen by how smart they were, or how strong they are, not by how easy they get along with others. Everyone endures High School differently, but some get it harder than others. (PG-13+, minor use of strong language, alcohol and/or drug abuse, and a small bit of sexual content <- nothing crazy, but this book is based in high school)

Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! There will be a sequel. Contains spoilers. I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS OR ANYTHING/MONOLOGUE THAT HAPPENED IN THE GAME, it belongs to Nintendo. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda. One day, Link gets a message from a girl named Dana asking if he wants to be her friend. Despite the fact that she lives in a different continent, he agrees because he's so desperate for friends.
