25 year old Ava Wright ran away from her problems 3 years ago,running to the middle of nowhere in a small town. She opened a small cafe,bought a beautiful country home and is finally settled in filling for the first time in a long time safe. Can one night change all of that? Can one night turn her world upside down once more? Or this time will she fight back? All characters are from my imagination and not meant to resemble any person alive or dead.

A battle of races (vampires, dwarves, elves, etc., that is) rages on while the rest of the world is oblivious. One girl is somehow singled out while she's pulled into the situation despite her desperate attempts to go back to her normal life as she'd once known it. Her adventures prove to be difficult as she tries her hardest to grasp the situation of the world as everyone knows it. Mind blown, she will fight for her own race in a dispute between the other 'mythical' ones.

"Something was drawing me to the bathroom. I slowly approached the door and opened it. What I saw made me sick to my stomach. I wanted to cry, puke, punch the wall, and scream. Her body was sprawled out on the floor. Her legs were covered in deep scratches paired in three. Her face was pale, but her eyes shone black. Pure black. It was like staring into darkness." Thana is 16 and she is more than what she knows. She's not an average girl.

Ava's the new girl at school after having a difficult last few years dealing with the ups and downs of learning to control and deal with her mental illnesses. She is excited to be at a new school, where no one knows her or her past. After changing schools three times, she's happy to find that everyone here is good, that none of them bully her. She even finds a few crushes along the way, but she soon will find nothing good can come form being the nice, quite girl.

Meredith Anne Hornsby is an average teenage girl. Her life seems dull and boring, until one day, she has a disturbing vision. She senses that something is wrong, but nobody believes her. What Meredith doesn't know is that something dark lurks within the meanings of these strange night terrors.

She meets 3 girls and an old friend the next day and finds out about a prophecy that tells her her destiny. Will she find out her gifts? And will she be able to face the battles that will soon come? She will fall...

Eve is 16 years old. She has normal friends and normal teenage habits. She didn't sneak out or smoke anything. She cussed sometimes and had a guy best friend she did secret things with. Her parents are Catholic, so they see her normal teen behavior as acting out beyond reason and continuously look for somewhere she can be 'fixed'. Her therapist suggested a place that looked like camp. Two strangers come get her in the middle of the night and bring her to the worst place she has ever been to in her life. When she comes back to live with her best friend, she is nothing like she was when she left, but he promised he'd wait for her.
