Baba Kōri didn't know what it meant to get her hands dirty, living a life of luxury. She never had to worry, being the daughter of wealthy jewellers, her life was on easy mode. All she knew was her prestigious, untouched upbringing, but it wasn't always a calm sea for her. Her family, unlike others was built upon lies.
When the waves come crashing down with brute force, disrupting peace, Kōri flees home. When she winds up in a filthy public restroom, she allows the cracks in her mask to shatter. All sounds vanished and the room blacked out, Kōri left to find herself stranded in an alternate, desolate Tokyo. The city stripped of its vibrancy and people, now consumed with an unsettling silence.
She's forced into the brutal world of the borderlands, participating in deadly games where Kōri was forced to confront a terrifying truth: her money, status, and connections meant nothing here. In order to survive, she'd have to rely on more than just her prior spoon-fed lifestyle.
Because in this world, there was only one rule - play or die.
