(First and foremost, let me state that, no, this does *NOT* contain any spoilers about One Piece besides the name. In fact, only 2 One Piece figures are mentioned in this mythology. I myself detest manga spoilers; I wouldn't do anyone dirty like that. Now for the reason why I made this and what it's about: )
I heard that Joyboy is an actual legend from South American/Jamaican mythology that inspired Oda (the author of One Piece), along with Tom and Jerry and other sources. A warrior who was a champion of the slaves, as he set them free and blessed them with freedom. I wanted to see what the original Joyboy was like in our Earth's mythological history of him. However, try as I might, I could not find any stories that mentioned a Joyboy or Nika or a warrior of liberation. I'm not sure how Oda came across the legend/mythology, but I am forever beyond grateful that he did. But grateful as I am, that left me slightly unsatisfied. So, I decided to write Joyboy as a mythology story myself, like the ones from Greece, Egypt, Norse, Hawaiian, African, etc., that we read in class. My language may need some work, but this is how I believe Joyboy's mythology would be told if he had the same recognition as Percious, Horus, Thor, Anansi, Moui, etc.
It is my deepest wish and hope that either lots of people who never watched/read One Piece enjoy this and remain spoiler-free, One Piece fans get a kick out of this, and potentially that Oda himself will take/find amusement in this attempt at literally writing history.

"What a beautiful ending!" You thought sarcastically as you leaned your back against the wall. Your chained hands rested in your lap. Your vacant gaze swept across the cell, and you observed each poor soul present, wondering what terrible event led them to end up there. You sighed and brought your hands to your head, where your distinctive hat concealed your greatest secret. What would become of your life now, being turned into a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder? You took a deep breath and made a promise to yourself never to trust anyone again." One Piece is my favorite anime, and that's no secret. So, I wanted to bring something related to it. I've been contemplating various paths over the past few months, and I believe I'm finally ready to develop the story I want to tell. It will begin in Sabaody and journey all the way to Wano (for now). The main character will not be described, but they will bear the surname Gyldepts, so I don't have to use the famous (Y/N) all the time! Weekly chapters! All rights reserved to Eiichiro Oda. After narrowly scraping out a victory, the Pretty Pink Pirates' infamy grows as the injustices of Tiger Wells become known, leading to his arrest. As the pirates' bounties increase, a vacancy forms within the ranks of the Seven Warlords... DISCLAIMER: This was written as supplementary material for my DM and other players of a One Piece D&D campaign that I've played in for sometime, so if any characters seem underdeveloped (namely the Pretty Pink Pirates) it's because this was originally meant for the group that has knowledge from the campaign itself. Also forgive me if any bounty numbers seem very out of proportion, I wasn't caught up to One Piece when I started writing this, I was actually in Thriller Bark at the time. I'm not particularly proud of the first arc (Chapters 1-14) but I decided to include it anyway out of respect for the whole project, my D&D group thinks it gets significantly better after that point and I have to agree with them, so I hope you like it!

First things first, though... is to get Sanji back. As the group splits in two, half head to Wano, While the others trek into, Pirate Emperor, Big Mom's territory. Familiar faces, betrayal, and teaming up with another pirate crew, they take on Big Mom and her crew all to get their friend back and meet up with the others in Wano. Kaido, the King of Beasts. Everything rides on the mission being successful, in order to obtain one of the two last Road Poneglyph's leading to the last island, Laugh Tale, where the One Piece lies. after Monkey D. Luffy became pirate king and defeated black beard he, and his wife Nami would fall in love and have a little boy 5 years after Luffy became king as they named the boy Monkey D Eddie (yes he's name after heivais eddie) and Eddie now is gonna become a pirate like his dad and wants to go down in history not known for being the pirate king son but to remember as himself and will make a crew with the strawhat kids and kids who's parents are friends with strawhats as Eddie will one day be stronger then his father. Stock here, I will make my favorite ships canon in this so if you don't like my ships im sorry but I hope you still enjoy and one more thing during making this it's january 5th 2025, so not everything has been revealed in one piece yet so some things I will have to make up and some arcs will be much longer then some because those are the ones im most excited about. BTW I am only making a un-canon sequel to one piece I am not trying to hate on Oda work im just doing doing this cause I know one piece will probably not have a sequel after it ends and please be patient im still in school so i'll try do as most as I can. The Revive Revive Fruit, fruit rumored to exist and is written off by many. Despite being a devil fruit, this particular one is different from the rest...
