(Hiatus) The Legacy of Fire and Fang

Diego César Hale is the youngest son of Kristin Hale (née Gajos) and Ray Hale, born in late 1994 into the storied Hale bloodline-a powerful werewolf family with centuries of history. As the first trueborn Alpha of his generation, Diego was always destined for greatness.

His life was peaceful until 2005, when a fire destroyed the Hale family home, claiming nearly every life within. The few survivors-Diego, his brother Oscar, their cousins Laura and Derek, and their uncle Peter-were left to pick up the pieces. Peter's severe burns left him unable to heal, while Laura inherited her mother's Alpha spark, leading the fractured Hale Pack. After confirming there were no other survivors, Laura and Derek left for New York, and Peter was placed in long-term care at Beacon Hills Hospital.

Oscar and Diego were adopted by their uncle Noah Stilinski, the widowed husband of Claudia Stilinski (née Gajos), their mother's sister. Raised alongside their cousin Stiles, they became known as "Spooky" and "Lil Spooky" for their quiet loyalty and strong bond.

In October 2010, the discovery of a dead deer with a scorched spiral symbol-a mark of vengeance in werewolf culture-brought Laura back to Beacon Hills, only for her to be killed by a rogue Alpha three months later. Her death spurred Derek's return and left Diego to support Stiles' best friend, Scott McCall, who had just been bitten by the unknown Alpha.

With a rogue Alpha and hunters hunting them down, Beacon Hills becomes a battleground. Diego must rise as both protector and Alpha, carrying the legacy of his family's fire and fang.
