15 year old Dani Pierce has drifted from one foster home to another, having no one in her life she could ever rely on but herself. Struggling through school with dyslexia and having everyone around her tell her that the things she saw and heard were all just in her head. After 10 years of being unwanted she ran away for good, choosing to find answers for herself on why she saw the things she saw her whole life. The one thing she never expected to happen, was to meet a group of kids her age claiming to all be children from the Greek gods of myth.

Author note: I do not own Percy Jackson or any characters created by Rick Riordan, the only character that is my original creation is Dani. Also it has been a very long time since I read any of the Percy Jackson or heroes of Olympus books so please correct me if I get anything wrong about stuff that happened in themAll Rights Reserved

But then she sees something by the Sound. . . . Cornelius has grown up in the ghetto and has learned to be tough. He's picked up many things on the streets and has lived off his wits and strength. He has now moved to Manhattan in yet another ghetto. But will he be tough enough to face the challenges ahead? The three friends have reunited only to be whisked away by a mysterious teenager. Now, they're all they have. They will learn to work together and save the world. Who is the enemy, and will these new friends succeed? None of the characters except for my OCs belong to me. The Sea and The Huntress by Lance2718

Poseidon calls in a debt with Artemis to protect Percy when he is 6, and Artemis agrees reluctantly, and until he is 12, she protects him, honoring the debt, and does this by taking the form of a 6 year old mortal, and they become friends, which Artemis never expected. This makes their eventual separation when Percy turns twelve all the more painful. Artemis reveals her true form to him after he saves her from Mount Othrys, no longer being able to stay away from someone who'd become her closest friend and the two grow close once again. Eventually, a series of unexpected events occur, and a new threat is on the rise, and Percy is forced back into the divine world, and this threat makes the previous wars seem like the good old days. At times I know I've made pacing either too fast, or too slow, and things may seem rushed, or that they take forever, but I've done my best to write this as well as I could, this is also the first story I've written in First Person POVs, swapping mainly between Artemis and Percy, occasionally with other characters where it's relevant. Also this story is way longer than I intended it to be initially, mostly because I didn't have a plan, and also because after a certain point I just began saying "You know what? Fuck it. Why not" and adding a lot of stuff, so yeah there's a lot of different sub plots and storylines within this story, that's pretty much the main reason it's so long, I've done my best to make sure there are as few plot holes as possible, and that each arc ends properly, but there's probably still some.
