It was supposed to be a normal year at Jade Mountain Academy. But then, it's never normal at Jade Mountain. Seven dragonets end up getting caught in the talons of a plan to make Pyrrhia the way it was thousands of years ago, before an IceWing and a Nightwing hatched a dragonet who changed the course of destiny worldwide. Will they succeed? Or will they tear each other apart before they even start?
