Aurelia, inhabiting a slowly dying land,  dreams to escape the kingdom of Granatus before the magic is fully drained from her homeland. With her plan underway, she is prepared to leave everything behind, until she is forced to sacrifice her bargaining token to the Fae queen. 

Determined to fight for her freedom, Aurelia strikes a deal with Queen Madalen, where she volunteers herself for the Crystal Rites. Promising to earn the gemstone of Granatus in hopes of securing the royal succession line, she enters the trials unaware of the dangers to come. 

Even more, she meets a brooding Fae warrior that she can't decide to keep as friend or foe.
