My Sweet Nerd|Joey Rooney

Riley Sawyer has always been part of the Rooney family. Her life was hard when she reached the age of 8. Her parents couldn't take care of her. Her parents were only in their late teens when the girl was born.

They wanted to take of Riley. They really did. But, they knew they were too young to be her parents. So, they gave her up for adoption. She was in the adoption center for months. However, that all changed when Pete and Karen Rooney gave in.

They have four beautiful children. Oldest, Joey Rooney. A nerd, but very smart and has a way of making jokes. Two blonde twins. Liv and Maddie Rooney. Then of course you have the "dumb" one in the family (according to Riley), Parker Rooney.

She has always considered them family. However, Karen and Pete did tell Riley about her past. She doesn't completely understand, but she wouldn't change it for the world. She loves the Rooney's. However, her life can feel like a blooper from a TV show. Due to Joey and Parker being in the family.

That's just the thing. Riley couldn't get along with the family without the Rooney brothers. Especially Joey.

When Riley knew what having a crush is, she couldn't wait to have one. But, every guy she has liked, either likes her best friend(s) or isn't interested. Riley is smart, pretty, nerdy, and is very athletic. And knows the best way in fashion.

Joey Rooney. The guy that tries to get with all the girls. But, whenever Joey comes around, the girls run to town. They don't want anything to do with Joey. They always look in the outside not the inside.

All Riley cares about is the inside. Riley has been in this family for the past 14 years. She has lived every moment with the family. Especially Joey. They are like siblings. But, to Riley, she doesn't want to be "just siblings" with Joey. For once in her life, she wants to be with someone who accepts her for her.

He may not be the "hottest guy" in school. But, Joey is perfect for Riley. And that's all that matters to her.
