Violet was just your average 17-year-old girl from Oberhausen, Germany - except, maybe, a little prettier than most. She lived with her super chill single mom, Laurie, and her younger half sister, Etta whom Violet didn't like that much.
At school, Violet was one of those girls - the kind that turned heads in the hallway without even trying. She and her equally gorgeous group of friends were the type you'd find laughing way too loud in the back of class or huddled around a phone watching clips of their favorite band: Tokio Hotel. Like most teenage girls in Germany, Violet was completely obsessed with the lead guitarist, Tom Kaulitz. His dreads, his streetwear style, his everything. She was down BAD. She couldn't even pretend to find any schoolboy cute when her heart was basically already married to a poster on her bedroom wall.
She and her friends had been ride-or-die fans since Tokio Hotel's debut two years ago in 2005, but no matter how hard they tried, they could never get their hands on concert tickets. Every time, they sold out faster than they could refresh the page. Still, the girls never gave up hope. And little did Violet know, everything was about to change - on a totally random Wednesday afternoon, right after school.
