Welcome to Seabrook. My name is Quinn. You may know my older sister, Addison. You know the girl who wore a wig cause she wanted nothing more but to fit it. The girl that met a zombie and changed not only the way she saw the world, but changed how everyone saw it.
Just like my sister I was born with white hair, and just like her, I was forced to hide it. And I did, for a while, then after I turned ten I got rid of the wig. I was looked down at. Called names, and was the target for any and all bullies. That's how it was for years. Now, I'm 16 and no one looks down at me. In fact I've been told my hair is cool and even pretty. And it's all thanks to Zed and Addison.
But now Seabrook is a strong, tight-knit community. Where we embrace our differences. But there was once a time when we had to protect ourselves. Legend has it that when the first settlers came to Seabrook, they found wild beasts with razor sharp claws, lurking in the forest. Which sparked an epic battle. The Seabrook settlers bravely fought off the monsters attack. And In doing so, they discovered a powerful energy source. An energy source that didn't belong to them. And In realizing what they had found. They took it from the beasts. They weren't going to let anyone steal back their treasure. So they hid it. And the town prospered and grew rich. Seabrook benefited greatly as it grew strong, happy and unified. The beast were a far off memory, and Seabrook forgot monsters could be real. Then a little bit of lime soda and a dash of industrial strength Seabrook energy...and boom! You got zombies. And yes, Seabrook has improved a lot since then, but...you can never truly bury your past.
