Kara was sent from Krypton to Earth, alongside her cousin-Superman.
Adopted by a different family, she lived quietly in the shadows of his fame. But Kara wasn't meant to stay hidden forever.
Now an adult, she works undercover for a secret government unit called the Department of Anomalous Threats (D.A.T.)-a team tasked with investigating the strange, the unexplained... and the inhuman.
For months, her missions were routine. That is, until a quiet lead takes her to a silent neighborhood, an old house, and a frightened man whispering about a creature that's not from this world.

Translations written: (underlined) Author's Note: This is an AU rewrite of James Cameron's True Lies 1994 Screenplay. The original was full of 90s toxic masculinity and stereotypes, so some of the behavior is out of character, but through all the angst and (quite ridiculous) action, lessons are learned and a happy ending comes together. Edits are ongoing, but the story itself is complete. Other Notes: The movie's lead bad guy was a Syrian extremist, but I wanted to use characters from Season 6, so I went with an ancient cult out of South America instead. Also, I always think of National City as being in California, usually around San Francisco whereas most of this movie was based between DC and the Florida Keys...
