Hope's life sucks. Her boyfriend broke up with her, her friends betrayed her, and her parents are getting a divorce. Hope has no will to live until a new guy arrives at her school. The new boy instantly becomes popular, no wonder, because he is the hottest boy in eighth grade. Hope is attracted to this mysterious new boy, and the boy kind of likes Hope too. But Hope isn't the only girl with feelings for the boy. She competes with the "Barbie Dolls" a.k.a. the most popular clique at Point North Middle School. Hope goes though bullying, stress, and even a suicide attempt just for a boy. Her life has officially been destroyed.
