The only one that doesn't judge by looks is Kazuha. They become close, almost inseparable. The vision hunt decree forces the boy to flee. When they reunite again, it's at the start of a war. And more than that, they are no longer young boys training together. They are a Fatui Harbinger and a samurai. Scaramouche has little time left to tell his story before the battle starts. Heizou works as an employee in H&M. It wasn't so bad, he just wished there were more company. Shinobu, the manager, would talk to him for a bit and then leave and go back to work once a fortnight. The harbinger felt a small amount of pity and decided to help the other but for a small price of course.
