Sunoo is just a simple boy from the province, full of dreams and desperation. With his grandmother sick and bills piling up, he leaves everything behind to find work in Seoul, South Korea - hoping the city of lights would give him a chance.
But reality is cruel.
No one wants to hire a probinsyano. His accent is mocked. His clothes are judged. His effort is ignored. And each rejection breaks him a little more.
One cold midnight, with tears in his eyes and no hope left, Sunoo accidentally bumps into a stranger on the street - not knowing that man is Park Sunghoon, the most feared and dangerous mafia boss in the entire country.
