For her, she has aspired to be a soldier like the two young men but being a girl in the 1940s who was only seen fit to live at home and make a man happy, her dream seemed ludicrous. But, that changed after her long-time crush became Captain America and her brother died. She was recruited to stop Hitler with Steve before he disappeared into the ice. She didn't know what to do after until Peggy Carter told her she could take a replica super-soldier serum but with the price of being preserved in ice overtime and only allowed out to complete missions for S.H.E.I.L.D. Or so, that's what she thought. Fast forward to 66 years later and she is let out for the thirteenth time to ease the found alive Steve.
