Thomas has a secret. A secret so deep that he was hoping to take it to his grave, that's why he was on the cliffs, he wanted peace. It turns out that the mysterious boy, named Dylan, that saves him from his fate brings more peace than death itself could.

The plot of the story revolves around Thomas, a young boy who wakes up in an underground elevator with no memory of his past, only to find himself in a mysterious place called the Glade, surrounded by towering stone walls. He discovers he's among other boys who have also lost their memories, forming a society where each has a role in survival and exploration. They're trapped by a vast and ever-changing maze that threatens their lives with deadly biomechanical creatures known as Grievers. As Thomas adapts to life in the Glade, he becomes involved in unraveling the mystery of the Maze. Along the way, he uncovers fragments of memories and clues about his past, including his connection to a girl named Teresa, who arrives mysteriously in the Glade shortly after him. Conflict arises when the stability of the Glade is disrupted by attacks from Grievers and internal tensions among the boys, exacerbated by Thomas's emerging memories and his role in challenging the status quo. Thomas had finally healed from the bullet wound he suffered, a couple months ago. no one knew that he killed newt and he hoped that it would stay that way. not because he was worried they would kill him, but because he had already killed one of his friends he didn't want to ruin any more friendships scott was ridden with guilt. he hated that the last thing that stiles and him talked about before he went missing was that theo had told him about Donovan, and he still didn't condone killing. but after finding out about theo he realised that stiles must have been telling him the truth about the self defence and that he could get over.
