Plot Summary:
Kang Jinhwan, a powerful 40-year-old mafia boss feared across South Korea, has lived the last seven years in emotional numbness after the death of his young son. Though he looks no older than 30, his heart has grown cold. He commands respect and fear, but lives in solitude, drowning in silent grief.
One rainy evening, on his way home from a deal gone wrong, he finds a high school boy sitting quietly at the bus stop-shivering, bruised, and clearly trying to hide it. The boy, Han Jiwoo (17), is an orphan who works part-time jobs and studies hard, always smiling despite his pain. When Jinhwan asks why he's out so late, Jiwoo just shyly whispers, "Sorry, hyung... I didn't mean to cause trouble."
That one word-Hyung-breaks something in Jinhwan.
He offers Jiwoo shelter for one night.
But one night turns into more.
