I'm Cindy, short for Cinderella. You read that right. I was named after that popular character who married an enchanting prince. I have a stepmother (who leaves too much to be desired when it comes to her personality) and two stepbrothers (who of course take after their mother hen). As much as I want my real life story to have the same happy ever after as my popular namesake, I'm afraid our similarities end with our misfortunes.
Be that as it may, I never lose hope that I also will get my happy ever after. Little do I know that my happy ever after will start when I least expected it the most. More importantly, it’s with the person I would never have imagined being with – Lorenzo De Jesus. Track and field superstar, champion debater, and all-around campus prince charming. This is our story. This is our time.
