Infinity. She grew up in an orphanage. She had never had 'friends.' Or at least, she doesnt remember having friends. She stays quiet and holds her tongue, learning a long time ago to do so. She doesn't remember much, after the explosion. She only remembers her six year old self, playing with two screw drivers. Stella. She was never popular but she was never ignored, but she, too, has few friends. She's bubbly and happy (and she doesn't admit it, but pretty sarcastic), but she's too smart for her own good. She lives on the beach in paradise, but her calm hides a storm. Astrid. She is troubled, and has been from birth. She is told her visions are just dreams. That the blue box that seems to follow her is just her vivid imagination. But Astrid knows the truth. She still remembers the days at the orphanage, with her few friends who were exactly like her. She holds her past inside on the streets of New York City, in disguise as a normal teenage girl. But when strange golden glow comes about them and a certain time lord comes into their lives, their life is changed before their eyes, and they will have to turn their lives in a different direction. But at least they finally know where they belong.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
