My Life My Choice

They say to prove someone wrong is the best revenge. They say follow your heart because its always right. 14 year old Khadija Mohammed makes a big change in her life the summer of her 8th grade year before she transitions into highschool. She decides to wear the Muslim head cover ; the hijab. She knows that she will face a lot of obstacles but she's determined to show the world what she's capable of. Will Khadija be able to win the war between what she wants or will she lose to what society wants? For now all she can hope is that this decision is worth the fight. -This story is somewhat based on my own life and my own experiences. A few things are changed but many events actually occured.
