"You should revise that. If not for him, almost everyone in this room would be a monster. He's the reason any of us are even remotely decent."

Then, after a pause, Jeonghan added darkly, "Makes me want to destroy all the good left in him."

Hoshi's breath hitched. That tone... It was laced with something dangerous. Something that Hoshi didn't like.

The author was rewatching Going Seventeen's "Bad Clue #2" and got a little(too)inspired. All she wanted to write was about politics but it somehow became a weird mix of all the tropes she likes. A story where everyone falls in love with Hong Joshua. Eventually.
