Avery Romano is an obnoxiously hot and most importantly self centered asshole and she had the audacity to smile while my whole world fell apart. I wouldn't put it past her to turn my new-supposed-home into a prison cell with much more ancient furniture. At least most of her family wasn't lacking the social skills that were no where near to be found in my wife.

Marrying the woman I had been promised four years ago should've felt more like a victory, when I snapped her right out of Amyra's claws and made her mine.
Reality looked a whole lot like her ignoring my entire existence, whenever she felt like it and behaving as if I didn't save her ass from an abusive marriage.

Heads up about this story...

It's not finished yet. I'm not entirely sure how long it'll take for me to finish it in total, but it's the first one with only my own characters. So... pretty much new rivers for me.

The first time, I started typing the first words of Callie and Avery's story must've been two years ago. So... I'm just glad I found the draft a few months ago and kept adding words here and there.

Also, I do hope you'll enjoy reading it!
