They were just two gamers in the real world-Cain, a demon roleplayer known as Cerberus, and Laura, a devoted RWBY fan who embodied her own take on Salem, the Goddess of Grimm. Meeting through the wildly popular DMMORPG Overlord, their bond grew beyond the game. Marriage followed. Then everything changed.

One day, Cain and Laura awoke not in their home, but in the bodies of their in-game avatars-a monstrous demon king and a dark goddess ruling over a living, breathing army of Grimm children and servants they had once crafted for fun. The world they knew was gone, replaced by a strange new reality filled with danger, magic, and mystery.

With no answers and no way back, the two decide to lean into their roles as Cerberus, the Demonic Overlord of Life and Death, and Salem, Goddess of the Grimm, reviving the name of their legendary guild: Demon's Gate. Their goal? To reshape this world into a paradise free from war, hatred, and suffering... no matter what it takes.

But paradise has a price. Building a perfect world means facing moral grey zones, making hard choices, and confronting old enemies and new allies alike. Along the way, Cain finds himself surrounded by powerful women drawn to his strength and compassion-a harem sanctioned (and heavily monitored) by his wife, Laura, who made one thing absolutely clear:
