On tour with Linkin Park, Emily Armstrong knows how to show up: scream her lungs out, light up a stage, survive the noise. But offstage, in the quiet between cities, she finds herself pulled toward something softer. In Berlin, that softness has a name: Lena, a local stage tech who moves like she belongs and sees through Emily's practiced armor with unnerving ease.

Between shows, buses, and dark hotel rooms, Emily learns there are places with teeth: cities, people, memories, but maybe there are also places that listen if you talk nice. And maybe, in the quiet in between, someone might just hear her.

Trilogy 1 | Nothing Sounds like me anymore (an Emily Armstrong fanfiction), écrit par maryunsaid
29 chapitres En cours d'écriture
***ONE CHAPTER OUT PER WEEK ON FRIDAY*** Emily Armstrong has stopped singing. She lives alone in Echo Park, in a slowed-down, almost motionless routine. Days pass between scribbled notebooks, night walks, and memories she avoids without ever really escaping them. Music is still there, in the background, but she no longer dares to face it. The voice still exists, somewhere - it just doesn't fully belong to her anymore. This fanfic is deliberately slow and introspective. It lingers on silence, on thoughts, on small, almost invisible gestures. There are no immediate revelations, no clear trajectory. Just a woman trying to understand who she has become after losing the thing that once defined her. A quiet encounter, a few exchanged words, a sound barely allowed to exist slowly begin to crack the stillness. Nothing is forced. Nothing moves fast. Everything unfolds at her own pace. This is a story about waiting, resistance, and the fragile moment when something starts breathing again. Trilogy 1 | Nothing Sounds Like Me Anymore : A slow, introspective story about silence, loss, and the fragile moment when a voice begins to return. Trilogy 2 | Off the Record : Emily works with Linkin Park in secret, rebuilding her voice and herself away from the spotlight, where everything is still uncertain. Trilogy 3 | Louder Than Light : Thrown back into the public eye, Emily must learn how to stay whole while standing under the lights again. Important note : These stories are works of fanfiction inspired by Emily Armstrong. While they draw on certain real elements for context and timeline, the narrative, relationships, and events are entirely fictional. © Mary Unsaid. All rights reserved. You're not yet 30 and you've already lived a life with more drama and intrigue than all your friends combined. Finally professing your feelings to your "will they, won't they" best friend, everything was like a RomCom. Until, of course, you made the stupid decision a few years ago to marry your school sweetheart on the grounds of you being pregnant with his child, but that so-called romance seemed to fizzle out the second you said "I Do". This has left you divorced and living as an independent single mum in a flat in London with your gorgeous now 4-year-old, Lily. Working back to back shifts between the coffee shop and bar, raising a child and just trying to survive doesn't leave you much time for socialising- plus the thought of dating turns your stomach after how Lily's dad treated you while you were pregnant. You didn't want to bring any more disappointing men into Lily's life. That was until you met an interesting stranger while at work, a stranger who became somewhat of a stalker... in the most romantic sense. He's cute and charming, and shows such interest in your life. But he's an actor, a world famous one too, so how could he possibly fit into your little family unit. Time to face the crash course of dating a superstar whilst trying to raise a child.
