Tracking The Bounty{HunterxOC}
Aurora Ealis is a Bounty Hunter who thinks that it's best to be alone in life. With no one to care for, loss wouldn't be as such of a big deal. Well that's what she thinks at least. While walking on the moon of Pantora, Aurora was just minding her own business when a small blonde child caught her attention. After following the girl and getting involved she is involuntarily saved by The Bad Batch. Fighting their leader all the way back to Coruscant upon their first meeting; she is glad to be out of their sight for what she hoped was for good. But their little girl isn't one to give up on Aurora. After tracking the bounty hunter down. Hunter got to see the shady part of Coruscant's lower levels that she lives on. He saves her from an ambush and again Aurora finds herself back in the care of the batch. A not ideal situation for her and Hunter couldn't agree more, but as Hunter gets to know Aurora more and more he can't help himself from wondering what happened to her in the past and why she gets so defensive about it. And how would Aurora feel once she is finally forced to face her feelings? Does she embrace it or does she do what she does best and runaway? If you want to read a slow burn about Crosshair, this is for you. It is completely cannon compliant and fun to read if you have seen the first season. It fits into the season as if it was always a part of what was happening. What if Crosshair stays with the empire because he has more there that just being a good soldier to come back to? Written in novel format based on Season 1 of the Bad Batch, this is a platonic romance that dives into the darkness of what Kamino has done to the clones and what the future holds for them after Order 66 and the enactment of War-Mantle. As an author, I enjoy looking deeper at the issues of interpersonal drama woven together with politics. A story about Crosshair and his journey fits that quite nicely. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story Description: The war was over, but the danger of the future remained.
