Lone Wolf - noun, informal. 1. a person who prefers to live, act, or work alone or independent of others. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jupiter Forrest is not your "normal" 17 year old. 1. She doesn't follow the trends. 2. She doesn't have any friends unless you count her pet ferret, Larry. 3. Her hobbies aren't gossiping and rainbow sleepovers, it's more like video games and boxing. 4. She plays the drums in her basement instead of going to the mall on the weekends. 5. She's counting down the days till she can leave her parents and their house, where she can start her own life by herself. 6. The biggest thing of all, she doesn't believe in "love" or any of those romantic gestures. So, what happens when a new family moves into the house next door? What happens when that family has a son that takes an interest in Jupiter? You'll just have to read and find out.

The Goal

UNEDITED VERSION To break free of the stereotypical box that high school placed her in, Charlie must team up with Liam, the new soccer player on the team her dad coaches. ---------------------------- Girls fall at Liam's feet - except Charlie. She fell onto his lap. Technically, she missed and fell onto the ground because she was tipsy. He wants her to leave; she wants him to smile, yet they're both precisely what the other requires. Charlie has the wild and independent outlook on life that Liam craves; whereas he has the indifferent attitude she needs to rebel against the status quo. They've got a common goal: to be free of what's holding them back. By pairing a moody soccer player with a bubbly cheerleader, the only possible outcome is a lot of teen spirit.
