Two boys in love in the small town of hawkins.
They were soulmates though everything was against their relationship, homosexuality was looked down upon.
Mike's father had explained it was a sin, and while Mike wasnt Christian, he didn't want to be looked down upon for his sexuality, he knew he felt different things for will than his own girlfriend jane.
Mike hid his feelings and worked hard to ignore will.
Will always knew he was different, he always knew he had a thing for mie though he "knew" deep down mike was only into women, he made that painfully obvious as mike ditched the party to see jane all summer.
Will had to move away, Mike thought it would help him get rid of his feelings but he couldnt resist calling the boy every single day. The calls never went through..
Fate wasnt on their side, they took fate into their own hands.

Will was less than excited as the prospect of having to leave his few friends and move in with his abusive father but there was nothing he could do. He goes so school expecting it to be bad but it ends up being worse than just bad, it was terrible. Luckily his new friend Mike Wheeler helps him through it. March 30th, 1986. The day after the events of season 4. Will and Mike arrive back in Hawkins. Home. But home isn't the same anymore. Hawkins, their once beloved town, now looks more like an apocalyptic disaster. The two boys know it's them and the party who needs to save the town. However, this task proves to be difficult when new feelings emerge. Will, the kind, soft and self-sacrificial cleric, who is hopelessly devoted to his so called unrequited crush. And Mike, the loyal but sometimes rude, leader of the party, who's struggling with new emotions he doesn't know how to handle. How will they save the town? But most importantly, how is will going to be able to share a room with Mike, his life long best friend and crush? Now he has to deal with the Upside Down coming back and try to convince Will that he's so much better than this guy. Can they survive together or get burnt by love? I hate to say that I have stopped writing this fic of Wattpad and have moved to A03 where I am currently rewriting it. I would love it if you read my retelling there! I would like to say though, if you want an incomplete ending, the first part is finished here.
