Almost Avenue

Matalik na magkaibigan sina Mira at Eli since first year college. Hindi mapaghiwalay- study buddies, coffee break partners, each other's safe space. Everyone assumes they're a couple, but they always laugh it off.

"Friends lang kami," they'd say, pero deep inside? Mas malalim pa ang nararamdaman ni Mira. But Eli never crosses the line. Not when Mira cries over exes. Not when she clings to him at 2 a.m. drunk. Not even when she falls asleep on his shoulder every time they pull an all-nighter.
