"Eliza?" Charlotte said, internally curling into herself. Nova had already looked weirdly at her. But this was different, having the eyes of the vampires, daywalkers and all of her friends felt suffocating. Why did people have to look at the person who was speaking? "Could you, uh," she made a throwing motion with her arms, "you know?"
But before the brunette could turn around, it had seemed the zombie and her were on the same wavelength. Before she could even turn around the zombie chucked a pine cone at the area above the gate, making a blue transparent wall become visible, bouncing the projectile off, and into the mulch below.
"OH GOODNESS!" Charlotte exclaimed at the loud zapping noise that came from the barrier, jumping slightly. She had always been a jumpy person, that much hadn't changed no matter how many monsters she met. "Well, I suppose I was right?" She squeaked, holding her hand over her heart as she tried to regulate her breathing, her gaze flicking to the impromptu projectile the zombie girl had used. "Oh, that poor pine cone."

Sadly I do not own, nor have I ever owned the Zombies franchise.
In the sequel to the hit franchise, two fresh cast members step into the spotlight, sharing scenes and something more unspoken. As their characters draw closer on screen, an unseen bond forms behind the cameras. What starts as a role might be turning into something real... but no one knows how far it will go.
