Finding Forgotten

Over the course of two-hundred years, the world has changed.
One government slowly migrated across the globe until there was nothing left. The entire world ruled by the same laws, the same policies, and the same flaws. The entire world known to everyone as the United States of America. But, in this day and age, it isn't the government that you and I would claim to know. They have taken over the freedoms of their citizens, the choices that they are allowed to make. They have created the ideal system, one that no longer has freedom that no longer represents our image of utopia. The ideal system, to rule; a dictatorship.
You would think that someone, anyone, would revolt, but no, no one dares. Because no one remembers.
CCC's, or Central Control Chips, the basis of your mind, is no longer your own, it has been taken from you. This government controls your memories, your beliefs, and even your very thoughts.
Evolution has taken its course however. Humans have found a way to fight back, they have unlocked mental capabilities that the CCC's could not repress. These mental capabilities give their owners back their brains, their ability to think, believe and remember for themselves.
Nevertheless, the government has worked far too hard for all of their work to simply fall through the cracks. As quickly as the hidden are saving them, the government is destroying them.
Even so, the story isn't quite so simple. One girl, who hasn't the slightest clue of her power, decides the difference between life and death. The Forgotten. No one knows they're there, and no one knows they're watching, but very soon, they will change the fate of everyone.
