Your Vial, Gratefully

Fire is a fatal thing. A blessing. A curse.
For the kingdom of Hyperon, where there are those who cultivate the power of fire called Infernos, it is a blessing. A land of sunshine, warmth ruled by King Heeseung.
For the kingdom of Valeria, a land of vampiric nobles with a long past of shadows and secrets, it is a curse. Especially when a group of rogue Hyperonians set it on fire against the laws, and cause several lives to go up in smoke. Its prince, Sunghoon, is forced to strike a deal with Heeseung as a punishment to Hyperon, though the punishment itself many find far too weak for what is to be deserved: In the exchange that the criminals behind the damage would be found and executed accordingly and that Hyperon should owe Valeria a favor when asked any time onwards, Prince Sunghoon would receive a Vial - a living blood source - from the kingdom. Yet, when the Vial, a kennel boy named Jake, and his loyal hound Layla, and Sunghoon get closer, it's clear that blood isn't the only thing that the prince wants from him.
Maybe it never was.
