The story follows Brooks, who is at his friend Ryker's house after a late-night football game. They enjoy pineapple pizza and talk, with Ryker joking around about Brooks' girlfriend's behavior earlier. Eventually, the conversation turns to kissing, and in a moment of drunkenness, Brooks kisses Ryker to prove he's the "best kisser." What starts as a joke quickly escalates into a more intense and intimate encounter, leaving Brooks confused and regretful. Realizing he's made a mistake, he hastily leaves Ryker's house, but not before his father sees a hickey on his neck. This leads to a confrontation, with Brooks' father furious and accusing him of dishonesty. Brooks is grounded, and the tension between him, his family, and his best friend grows as he grapples with his feelings and the consequences of his actions.
