"Some ghosts don't haunt halls. They haunt people." I saw him again It was in a dream. A low-lit room, damp and heavy with mildew. Shadows clung to the corners like cobwebs, and there he was-sitting on the floor, knees pulled to his chest like he used to do when he couldn't breathe. His eyes were darker now. Wider. Deeper. But it was the smile that woke me. Not the kind that said, "I missed you." The kind that said, "You thought I was gone, didn't you?" I sat up in bed, throat dry, heart thundering. My bedroom was still. No sound but the tick of the old wall clock and the wind dragging its breath along the windows. It had been years. Three years since I helped him disappear. I had met him when he was sixteen. A boy found in a police station-too quiet, too still, like a painting smudged at the edges. He had no one, and I... I was the last person his sister had trusted. So I brought him home. He was broken in ways I didn't fully understand, quiet in ways that made the house feel loud. But I told myself I was doing the right thing. That helping him meant healing him. That I could keep the darkness away if I just stayed close enough. I was twenty-three. A writer. Alone. Maybe a little broken myself. They warned me not to get too involved, that he needed professionals. Structure. Boundaries. But he clung to me like I was oxygen. And maybe that was the first mistake.

(#2 of 'Thakur Brother's' series) "Who bring you here?" He questioned in deep husky voice, I shivered again unknowingly, my tears falling down like a river. His gaze dipping into my soul, I couldn't hold his intense gaze and lowered my lashes. "Did you can't hear?" He said, in little bit loud voice, I tightly shut my eyes squeezing them, I want to tell him everything. How I bought up here, what happened with me but I can't able to utter a single word thinking about there threats. I hide my face pressing on my thighs, I placed my right hand on my mouth to control myself for crying out infront of him. "Can you tell me everything?" I slowly lifted my head just a bit, slightly opening my tearing lashes to looked at him, his expression were completely blank and expressionless. I pressed my lips and try to gather some courage to atleast speak a word, I opened my trembling lips. "I-I don't know-w, who-o are they," Somehow I managed to say trying to control my outburst, his eyebrows thinned in a line. I'm trying to control myself but when I saw his expression getting changed, I pressed my body backward, seeing him taking steps towards me. "Did someone make you unconscious," He questioned in most deep and dangerous voice I ever heard before, I gulped nervously. I bit my lower lips I couldn't help my tears were not stopping from flowing from my eyes, being confused and afraid. I keep looking at him, tightly clutching on the fabric over my chest, he eyebrows thinned in line. "I ask you something, did you hear me?" He said gritting his teeth, I tightly pressed my thighs on my chest looking at his scary face expression. He clutched his jaw, I feel I will die just feeling his intense glare on my face, I bit my inner cheeks harshly. "REMOVE YOUR SAREE," My life shattered into tiny fragments, just like a broken mirror.
