It was exactly three o'clock in the morning. The city air had stopped, as if someone had forbidden him to breathe. The boy was standing on the roof-his face covered, his eyes fixed. He had an envelope in his hand. A blood-stained envelope. The girl standing in front of him was trembling-her throat dry from the tension between fear and love. - "Why did you... why did you change so much?" - "I told you, the end would be death. Didn't you hear?" The surroundings were silent. Only the cries of dogs wafted from afar. The girl knew that she wouldn't survive today. But would her love die today too? The boy took a step forward. He extended the envelope in his hand towards the girl and said- - "Love never ends. But some people do." The sky suddenly flashed with lightning. And with it, that terrifying smell- the smell of blood.
