While returning back to his place, a foe encounters Mackenzie Rundell which causes him to get sucked into a world which his late father had mentioned before.
In this odd world, Mackenzie has to face his fears. Quite literally. Living versions of his past traumas are born into a place called the "Rift". He manages to find allies who share a similar past to him but have monsters of their own. Will he manage to escape the rift or succumb to it?
